I have a 14 ft duck boat that has a collapsible blind with the avery fast grass mats on it. Very easy blind to put up and take down. Boat is in good shape with no leaks what so ever trailer has new tires and new wiring for the lights. It will come with your choice of an 18 hp long shaft johnson or a short shaft 20. I need the money and need it gone. It is currently located in Bemidji Minnesota but will be brought down to the cities on the 22nd but can deliver earlier. I am open to offers. Pictures can be sent by phone, text me or email me is the best way to get a hold of me.

He wants 800 for this boat, seem like a good first boat for a guy?

Seems like a very decent price to me--sight unseen. Does the boat have basic brown or green flat paint job? (Hopefully so). As for the motors, well so little info...now there is a real crap shoot. Did he winterize either of them annually or kept in the heated garage? As for which one, sure as heck do not want a short shaft on a 20" transom. I'd match the transom height to the motor(15" = short shaft, 20" = LS). But like I said, so little info on them, like make, year, etc.. And the problem is you can not test the boat to see if it leaks and how well the motor works with ice on the lakes.

I'm headed up his way next weekend anyways I figured if stop and take a look at, I attached a picture of it and yeah I thought of that I won't have any way to test if it leaks until next year or even if the motor he gives me works Image

I saw this ad as well. When I asked the wife about it she said "it's 10 below and you want to buy a boat, you don't make any sense." So I guess I wait till spring.

For $800 if it's garbage you can probably turn it for the same or close to it. If you are going up there you could try $500 for him to not have to bring it anywhere

Make sure you get the right motor for the boat. dont want to put a short shaft on a tall transom
