Rob what have you seen for deals on 16-17 ft trailers? The one for our big duck boat is too small and that building just collapsed on it so I am guessing it is toast so I am in the market as well. I have been keeping my eye on CL but maybe new is the way to go.

As for rust we just wire brush ours down and add new rustoleum every year. By the end of the season most of it is chipped off from gravel but it protects it enough to keep the rust from ruining it. I am sure bed liner would work a lot better but for $10 in rustoleum it is tough to beat the price as long as you don't care what it looks like.

It wouldn't cost much to "rhino line" it once would save you time and eventually money but mostly time. In my opinion it's well worth it.

Pete,

More of the 16'+ avail.... some rollers on CL for $500-$700.... but even those I've sen maybe one a month sort of deals. Too many trailers still have boats on them!

Browningguy~ thanks for the heads up, was working last night and missed it. I'll likely go new once cash flow catches up.

We've picked up several over the years during the 110 mile garage sale they have around here the first Friday in May.
Ask Al how to successfully nest wood ducks, see you next season.

I have a trailer you could have for $200. Needs some work the tongue is bent.
