Blaze is a champ. He doesn't get out hunting too much anymore. His owner was kenneled.

This is coming up again pretty strongly because with my sister having a baby and another sister pregnant...GF has baby/wedding fever. She knows with work being messed up right now I'm not getting married or having a kid within the next year for sure. She misses having a pet, and all the major things in life she wants to accomplish together are pretty much on hold. A hunting dog would be number 3 on her list behind marriage and having a kid...so I may cave. Plus it does away with buying useless gifts for each other for Christmas if we can both agree it's a Christmas present to each other .

Well she came home with everything entered in to send the deposit and asked permission to do it haha...figured I can at least make one of her dreams come true. Plus...no Christmas shopping for her this year...

Have fun. I'm feeling the need. Suddenly had a German wire hair pop up in my thoughts. But will likely be a yellow lab. Going to be a "line in the Sand conversation" with the wife.

Thanks, we'll see wish me luck it turns out ok haha. I bit more "sudden" than how I typically like to make major decisions. But...the price was right, they are very active on social media and interacting with their community, aren't shy at posting pics/vids of their puppies and their surroundings on social media. Have a whole questionnaire you fill out to be considered to buy a pup. Sure some of that can be "feel good" measures. But everything seems decent about the place so I'm hopeful it's at least a right start...we'll see what he's like and how he takes to training

What's the kennel? The one u used for my first lab might be retiring, may need a back up

We’re all feeling the want of a puppy in this house... will be interesting to see if we cave in 2019 or wait 2 more years as planned.
