10 weeks old here. We love our Berkley. We don't jump him off docks though. I am too nervous of hurting him.

I love watching dock jump dogs...... am very afraid to let my hunting buddys fly out of the boat. I should say that I am afraid of them getting impaled or cut to the point of ending their season or life.
You can bad mouth a mans gun, his shooting, and his women but bad mouth his dog them's fighting words.

I have three labs so far, first two had nothing to do with it. The one I have would jump but not actually go very far.
Ask Al how to successfully nest wood ducks, see you next season.

Is this something you actually can train for or does a dog have to have it come naturally?

I think it is something your dog has in him/her if you want to encourage it you can.

Thought it was cool at the time and she loves it. 2 ACL surgeries later we limit this type of thing. Not saying this was the cause of her ACL problems, but it doesn't help any. This is a deep hole. Make sure it is deep enough for your dog or you'll be in trouble.
