Best Place/Avenue to Find a Decent Black Lab Puppy

Any recommendations on fly collar/repellent for dogs? We snuck away to my dads place for one night and completely forgot how bad the flies are up there we were unprepared. Poor guy was constantly getting harrassed with a dozen plus flies on him at any given time and balls were all red from the bites. Didn't even think of it on memorial there was nothing out

He's a goofball, apparently too hot in the car for him coming home from the cabin Sunday, so he had to sleep with his head crammed under the seat where the vent blows out

Nice now that it's a bit cooler don't feel bad pushing him a bit harder. He actually did pretty good last night tracking his dummy through the tall grass, he did some like 60 yard retrieves where I'd go over the crest of the hill so he couldn't see me and the GF stayed back with him, then turned him loose. Pretty fun. 70 lbs now think he's just about done

Dropped my pup off at the trainer last week and she got to chase down her first live birds. She did pretty dang well for her first rodeo and only being 5 1/2 months old. I’ve trained 2 dogs by myself in the past that were good hunting dogs. I just don’t feel like I have the time to do it right these days. I’ll pick her up in about a month and hopefully she’ll be dialed in. Feels pretty lonely around the house without her.

She learned all the basic commands very quick so I’m thinking she’ll pick up on the hunting skills quickly. Getting pretty pumped up for her first season.

I bet she'll put on another 5lbs yet this year and another 5 next yr as she fills out. At least that is what has happened with my pups.
