So long good buddy...

Well after 1 yr of him starting to loose weight.... and frankly him staying alive 6 months longer than i thought he would considering his health challenges (2 times last spring I thought it almost "time"), yesterday I realized that it was indeed time. He was down to 37.5 lbs this morning (1/2 his weight of 2 yrs ago), he really took a turn for the worse yesterday on his mobility.
I called the Vet this AM, dug his grave, and went to the Vet to do the deal, and he was buried in a blanket by 1PM.
God knows that I going to miss him.

Sorry for your loss, Al. Never understood why their lives are so short.

Sorry about Buzz, Al. Hope you feel like getting another one soon. Wife and I lost two dogs in 2017 and it’s going to be a couple more years before we can justify getting one. The only thing worse than losing them is being ready but unable to get a new one. Peace.

Never easy Al. Lots of good hunting memories Im sure with Buzz.

We had to put down our 8.5 yr old Asti last January to hemangiosarcoma. We Jumped back on the puppy train by June and got a black male lab this time. Had to get this one trained before the other 11 yr old passes too

Sorry for your loss Al. My first dog is about to turn 6 and I have learned how attached you can become. I know it can't be easy to go through this.

Al, I'm sorry to hear about your loss of Buzz. He was a true companion and hunter. Their lives always seem way to short.
