Is the arrow a camo Carbon Express Terminator? I shot a goose about 8-9 years ago and the arrow had yellow and green fletchings, kid you not.

Fletchings look like the small ones now that I look at it though...my arrows had the long fletchings. 60-75 camo Carbon Xpress Terminators...and when I shot it it wasn't collared...don't know if they would put a collar on a goose with an arrow in it.

Where did you find it?

The Yellow collar is part of the metro study on goose travels in regard to air space at airports to study the geese flight paths in hopes to better avoid plane/jet VS goose encounters.

I'm sure some clown recently shot it with an arrow because of the neck collar.

I would guess there are more yellow collared geese than a metro study? Maybe not.

Looks like it was either on the water or ran into the water. Both the goose and arrow are covered in algae... I have a pond full of it behind my house.

I've had the yellow collared geese in my drive way, but we only took pics of the collars. The online collar trackers wouldn't report on them.

Those geese have all been "relocated" due to development. The vacant lots they fed and loafed in aren't so vacant anymore. Now they got a Kwik Trip, McDonalds, Liquor Store.... mmmmm, liquor store....

I guess it was in maplewood. A friend sent me the picture last night. He had to kill it as it was suffering. Somebody probably looking for a collar
