Either:
A) he's a dumb ass that forgot his shells, along with his buddy, but his buds remembered the camera
or
B) Camo company staged photo of a mime that doesn't care about ducks but can stand still for an hour up against a tree
Wait... I missed an option... IT'S CHAD BELDING! Only man could be so bold and talented as to get to a spot like that and remain so calm!

See I was thinking he has been there since 4:00 am on opener, it's 5 minutes to 9:00 and he is so cramped up when he goes to shoot he will probably land face first in the mud.

No lie I was in almost that exact same situation once and whiffed with all 3 shells. Worst moment of my life.
