I wish it was 46. That was a chunky little 38.5. Hopefully I'll tie in to some big ones on the mn opener. Wi side has been slow for me.

Muskies were eating all my crappies last weekend in a shallow backwater. Hope they are half as hungry Sunday thru Thursday.

Not sure in this pic I measured from my chin to the top of my head it was right about 1 inch. The fish was 4 inches measured in the pic. I measured my head, from top to chin in real time its approx 11" so the fish is roughly 44-45 inches. I have caught bigger but this one was a fun fight. Caught on 15 pound test and 2 beers every time I thought he was close he'd make another run then tangle in the weeds. He almost felt like he was trying to burrow down into the mud.

They eat ducklings, walleyes, and panfish - so keep them all.

You realize the fish is quite a bit in front of your head though right?
