I wouldn't kill that fish. That's a stunted panfish eating machine.

Guessing off pics is stupid. If a guy's really that concerned about inches, a 48" level in the boat or a 60" sticker removes all guessing. Or at least most of it.

No matter how long it is, still a great fish!

Not sure in this pic I measured from my chin to the top of my head it was right about 1 inch. The fish was 4 inches measured in the pic. I measured my head, from top to chin in real time its approx 11" so the fish is roughly 44-45 inches.

You realize the fish is quite a bit in front of your head though right?

Regardless, Nice fish!

Right the way I measured it that does not matter. My head measured in the picture and my head in real-time is the same regardless of depth, same with the fish.

Fished a lot with my brother and he had a broken scale. It was way off. Became the running joke that any fish was 2#s lighter than it was. One things for sure, a properly measured fish is a lot different than a good guesstimation.
