Finally got a sit in this morning. 2 does, 2 fawns and 2 small basket bucks (4 & 6). Hopefully can sit tonight before front moves in.

Similar behavior my way... I haven't had a mature buck on his feet in legal hours since 9/28. I only have 2 on this farm I can take, that are mature enough... Lots of little guys but the owner says hands off. Had fantastic sparring 2 nights ago though between a couple of baskets

very slow activlty, Even hunting land that has many bucks on camera, no antler sightings yet, just a doe or 2. The corn will be rolling out of most areas in a week with this nice weather. MAYBE a little cold weather will help us, with deer and the ducks......

Didn't see anything last night, but corn is coming out like crazy I can't believe it, month+ahead of schedule around me. Should make for a very fun pre rut/rut. Might make it out Saturday afternoon otherwise it'll be early next week, for sure not Sunday with 80+ degrees forecast. 70 was hot enough yesterday

Definitely getting to that time of year where it's tough to be a whitetail hunter (or ducks) in MN. Generally I think the "October lull" begins around the 11th or 12th of October but this year it seems earlier... My shooters are on their feet at 10:00 and beyond according to my cameras.

Good time of year to head west for elk or Muleys :D

Exact opposite for me.

Saw two does, two fawns, a 5 point, 4 point and a 9 point all at 20 yards last night. I'm on the fence about the 9 so he got a pass last night. Have bigger bucks on camera so not disappointed with the decision. Man was it a beautiful night last night to be in the stand. Back to combining for another week or two then it's back to bowhunting and geese. Nice time to have a waterfowl split and warm weather in those regards.

Good luck to everyone.

My sentiments exactly.... I've largely stayed out of the season split debate, mostly because I have mixed feelings. But the one thing splitting the season does is allow me to get out and chase something else while the season is closed. 60 days is 60 days, regardless and if the DNR chooses to close the season for a while, it just forces me to pick up the bow a little more early

Sat this morning w/ no luck... Had a great deer on his feet last week at dusk but still plenty legal. I'll be hunting both tonight and tomorrow... Lots of doe/fawn on the camera but nothing big until after dark with the exception of the deer I mentioned begore
