2015 Bow Hunting Reports

Not yet, that pic was at 5:10 AM yesterday. I set up a stand today in a super crappy tree right off that trail. It's going to be one of those all or nothing spots. If he comes up that trail he shouldn't notice me and I have 2 small windows to make a 15 yard shot. If he starts out in the field to go to that trail, he'll probably see or smell me and it will all be over. I don't even plan on hunting that stand until the week before gun opener. It's the best I can do its a really tricky spot...guess that's why he likes it.

Fairly certain this is the same deer I saw use that trail 3 times last year and never got quite close enough. Let's hope this year that stand move pays off. I'd like to get this one I think he is at about his prime age before starting to decline

Didn't see anything tonight, was quiet as could be. Probably going to air out my clothes and let it rest several days before I start going every day end of next week

Only got out last night.

Lone fawn, doe with fawn and doe with twins. Cameras slowed down too in last week. Need some cold.

Watching the radar intently, looks like may get enough of a break to go out tonight. See what it looks like in an hour

Had 2 nice bucks step out together tonight. Looked like a 6 or 8 and a bigger 8 or 10. Couldn't tell if he was my shooter or not. But they came out well before dark, its starting

Punched my tag with a nice doe tonight. 15 yards quartering towards me. Double lunged her, ran 40 yards and I watched her tip over. First deer kill at my parents place.

Now its time to get after the ducks.

Saw a doe...then a fawn came running out of no where and the doe charged it...then chased it off through the woods. Is that the doe trying to kick out the yearlings so she can be bred? Never seen that before
