Re: 2015 Bow Hunting Reports

Moved some cameras around at noon yesterday to be least intrusive as possible and saw 3 fresh scrapes and two rubs within 50 yards all around my plot. Going to take most if not all of tomorrow off to hunt. Probably work all day Friday and hunt all day Saturday and after the Vikings game Sunday night. We'll see what the weather does for next week on Sunday and plan for next week then.

Checked one camera while I was moving them yesterday and had a new buck, borderline shooter, in my plot at 5pm Monday afternoon scent checking my mock scrape. Was happy to see that.

Wind is supposed to be pretty brutal this afternoon, we'll see just how bad its blowing that will determine if I make it out.

Raining a little/mist and saw a few flakes, about 38 degrees. Getting really breezy though...damn wind. Could drive them out of the woods and into the open or they could hunker down. Not looking forward to the walk though the field after an inch of rain either. We'll see what its looking like in a few hours

I know of two different guys that stuck deer the evening of the 26th, counties apart, both rattled in like they were on a string....

I might try and brave this wind tonight with the snow coming. Have some daytime pics of smaller bucks now but everything big is still nocturnal. Any day though.....

Didn't see anything, had visions of a big buck stepping out of the swamp at last light but no luck. Wind was swirling something fierce. Those does I saw on my way out there were acting like they were being chased but didn't have time to stop and watch
