Should have stayed out all day. While driving to my land for the afternoon saw a lot of deer out and about. Hopefully they still want to move

Worked on taking down fence all day but got done about an hour before dark. Drove to one of my properties to glass and watched a small buck chasing a doe around in a bean field. She wasn't having it. Both of them had their mouths open and tongues out. Going to scout tomorrow morning too and make a game plan for rest of the day.

Didn't see anything tonight. Buddy went with me he saw a doe and 2 fawns. Almost smoked a big buck on the way home. Heading out again in the am.

Seems they've gone nocturnal. Every day I go out I see fresh tracks... No deer. Did finally find a scrape. Didn't see anything this morning, probably go again tonight I suppose one of these days its going to pop, hopefully the fading moon helps

Not here. Scouted this morning and saw my number one with a new number one I've never seen. 130"+ 8. Out in a bean field hour after first light. Also saw 3 does about 500 yards east of them. Going out mid afternoon to a different property than this one. South wind is not good for this place.

That seems to be the consensus with everyone I know also^^^^^

Greatwhite seems to be the exception seeing good deer on their feet during daylight. Good luck to him!!! In the meantime I'll be hunting everyday until gun season hoping for a change. Thursday looks like a 20 degree shift in high temps which might be enough but that's cutting it close to the pumpkin patch of hunters too...

Too bad I was only scouting! Had to hunt a different property last night from the one I saw shooters on because of the wind; saw nothing.

I plan to be in the stand all day Thursday and depending what I all see, maybe Friday too.

That's my tentative plan also... I was going to sit every day, all day this week but Mon-weds ill just do dawn and dusk stuff... No sense in burning myself out with temps in the 60's.

Sat (still sitting) this morning, saw does/fawns and a smaller buck @ 80. Tried to snort wheeze and he wasn't interested. Wasn't swollen either... Swore I heard some grunting later in the morning too
