2016 Gear Thread!

I restle coated and put autumn wings heads on a dozen and a half this year. Restle coating is slick but those heads are a B with a capital B.

I tried T-nuts first and they just pulled right out. Then bought threaded inserts off Amazon and they work but not much fun to get seated. Decided to glue them on with PL400 just for added security. I'll post pics later

Quack, was that the threaded insert from Autumn Wings?

I was thinking epoxy or 3M 5200 from the get-go

The threaded inserts I bought look the same as Autumn Wings but way cheaper on Amazon.

A friend painted these for me and did a great job IMO.

Anyone used them Homer brand decoys? Been tossing around the idea of getting a dozen or two cans/bluebills of the sleepers they make.

Haven't used them. But from what I've seen of the price likely worth a shot. Autumn Wings has a 72 inspired block now also.
