Buckthorn seems to be a HUGE problem........hopefully someone will invent an easy way to control it.

Maybe the DNR will try to eradicate another invasive species.

We have hired some forestry students from the u of m a couple times to come out to cut and spray buck thorn. Even with that you still need to have that done every few years to keep it under control. That stuff is hard to kill and spreads like crazy. Another fast mover is sumac. That stuff can take over a hillside in no time.
