I'm still doing non-photo shop visual creations.....
I did this one quick because it's more fun doing them like that sometimes.
Plus, I sincerely like the look of it being rough and non-detailed. You can tell what it is....but only by having a similar memory fill in the blanks and the details....it's meant to trigger cognition....a response from the viewer, like what real art should do.
The hyper detail stuff the Hautman's do I don't care for at all to borderline hate. They're as talented as it gets but their stuff is so flawless in detail that some of it literally looks like a photograph unless you're standing with a few feet from it.
You might as well just look at a photo. There's nothing for your own mind to fill in and finish....no memorable scene you get to create....
I wouldn't ever paint like that even if I could.
