What you using for a fishing times app. This one here has proven right more than not. Been a few time out ice fishing and I've started pulling up fish fast for what seemed an odd time and then checked this and I'd be on a peek in a major or minor. ImageImage

Me and the boy did some river walking yesterday. The damn 5 pound channels were about all that wanted to eat the raps. We call this spot the goat trail. ImageImageImageImageImage

I use the bestfishingtimes app. I really only need to know the phase, rise, set, over head and under foot. The rest I can conclude on my own. Every app seems to have different info, lengths of majors/minors etc and really it just comes down to when the peaks are.

I got a moon phase app that does all the stages of the moon with rises, overhead ect. The underfoot one isn't a phase you hear many talk about except for the muskie guys.

Interesting. Never noticed that. Moon under foot major is probably my most productive time, all other things being equal. At least in recent years. Fishing always seems to be better when the moon is down vs up. I prefer new over full as well.

Weather is the biggest factor but I put moon second for sure.

Little guy is getting used to me now that he sits on the lowest branches and I can mess around right under him and he will just go back asleep. Probably helps that I chase off them damn loudmouth robins that harass him. Yes it's a him, the female is lighter and stays with the lil ones up high. ImageImageImage

Apparently we didnt get kicked to the bottom of the list after getting salmon from the troopers. Got the call a moose got hit this morning. Only about a 400 pound moose or so. Got about 140 pounds of meat off it. Threw a rib cage on the trager while we processed the rest of itImageImage
