A big bass ate a crappie whole before eating my fathead by the looks of it....

Reminds me of the bass I caught that were all full of bullheads. There was a small pond draining into the lake and the bass were in a feeding frenzy on the bullheads coming out of it.

Little bullheads are the shit...good bait for everything. If walleye guys only knew they were their favorite you'd see them at every bait shop.

The biggest bass from last night I'm guessing 21" to 22." It had to be. I guessed this one to be 16" before deciding to grab a tape and finding out.

The one last night was several inches bigger....my guess was 18" but that thing was 21" all night long. I hooked it deep so bit the line off right at the mouth and threw it back. That it had the tail from a filetable sized crappie hanging out of it's gullet should've been enough of an indication to tape it out.

Not sure what breed of mantis since it came with the mail. The DNR says there are two species in Minnesota. The European and Chinese. I found a big green Chinese one once.
