Kenai? Sweet flounder haha. Headed to homer this weekend with the parents then hitting the kenai Monday and Tuesday.

Talked to my buddy last night who guides the kenai and he said it’s another solid red run with limits most days. Only slow days have been the day after the two days open each week to commercial netting out from the mouth. Water is high from rain and melt which is making a lot of the bank spots unfishable.

I might have to go up a little later than I usually do due to his schedule. Might be between mid sept to midOctober. Late silver run has been pretty spotty last few years. I guess if the salmon are tough there is always trout ducks and spruce grouse.

It's good I mean I'm not a whiskey connoisseur. All whiskey is kinda just whiskey to me...outside the real weird stuff. I'm perfectly content sipping JD. Used to have like 20 different bottles on my bar and said this is stupid, I never have people over and I'm perfectly fine drinking jack why am I buying all these bottles where a 750 buys me 1.5l of jd? Drank all the bottles threw them in the recycling and haven't bought anything besides JD since
