Finally getting some bucks on the trail cams. Nothing too crazy....from what I've seen the bucks in our area don't get that big of antlers. I'm confident this buck is the same one I was seeing last year....he's identical.....including his rack....same exact size as last year. Huge body and at least a 3.5yo.....

Yeah, skulls are a pain. I do Europeans by boiling them in a pot full of water with a shitload of scrubbing bubbles in it....it's a powdered detergent cleaner....throw in a little borax too if you'd like....check it every half hour or so to pull skull out, tap it, shake more shit off, cut and wire brush more shit off.....just be careful to not overcook the fukcer because the cartilage connecting the bone plates will dissolve and the skull will fall a part. I can do a European in about an hour and a half, maybe two hours. Three hours and you're going to have a pot full of skull plates and pieces and a fine puzzle to put back together with super glue.

yeah, i do pretty close to the same. just below simmering in water and dawn for a hour and a half take it out pick and cut off crap. Then do it again for another 1.5 hours or so and the picture above is where i am at. Now its soaking in water and biz which should gel up the remaining cartilage and remaining tissues. take out after a couple days and rinse it and see where i am at. i hope i dont have to whiten it. i hate bleached white looking skulls. Looks super tacky when people bleach the teeth white.

Despite my subpar carpentry skills the stand is coming together....I finally caved and spent $50 on some 2×4's. Up until that....I hadn't spent a dime on anything besides screws and a couple metal fasteners/plates....all old shit, leftovers, scraps, and free stuff....
