By saying "us" you are including yourself in this group. Care to explain how you were "vocal" in opposition to the USFWS for not allowing a teal season for the Northern states in 1968, as a 9 or 10 year old? Did you write letters to your representatives in crayons?
The way you re-tell what happened you purposely make it sound like you were 30 years old in 1968. Are you some 55 to 58 year old pretending to be older to make yourself the elder statesman on a duck hunting site to impress the kids?
That's really the only thing that makes sense when looking at the dates and doing the math.
