Talk smack all you want but divers are using the GL a lot more than anyone used to know. With in the last 2 years the USFWS has finally started flying "off shore" beyond a 1mile and now fly out to 12 miles off shore and are finding HUGE rafts of birds in the 8-9 mile range... in Green Bay that was only flone 1 mile and is only knee deep at that range in areas. They have found larges as in the 8 thousand plus rafts of blue bills 5 plus miles off shore... they are eating zebra mussels. so the GL freezing may not be YOUR crippled ducks but part of the migration change that has been happening for years out of our state.

But still does not account of why their population plummetted in 1/2 compared to 40 years and their breeding range is still the same.

Actually it is accurate. I love it when someone disagrees but gives no supportive documentaion or alternative to debunk it, but intead calls me names. Now grow the hell up and leave the name calling out of it as this site is not about that.

Blue Bills are not coming through MN like they used to, Per research they have been going further east in their fall migrations. And there are about 1/2 as many BB as 40 years ago. Now prove it different or stiffle your keyboard.
