I cleaned out my email just today but something along the lines of thanks for not letting us have a bonus teal season. I hate shooting ducks anyway. Give us the bonus teal or step down as the waterfowl guru. Maybe the ducks hunters could turn to phea...nope or deer hun, nope.Why the F cant we pump water and hunt a flooded field like down south? And ended it with telling him to spend a few hours on hear, maybe he would learn something from some real duck hunters. Except for that Al types.

More of a rant but still said I wanted to shoot more teal.

The vast majority have migrated through MN by the time of our opener. Are there still teal around? Sure. But not like a month earlier.

Even with the "vast majority" gone by opener MN hunters are shooting 100,000 BWT. Second only to Louisiana in the miss. flyway. No other state in the flyway surpassed 51,000 BWT harvested in either of the last two years besides MN and LA. 100k teal aren't getting shot on opening weekend.
