Not good here in North Idaho. Waited all summer to fish dry flies and it’s basically done until probably some time in July. Atleast it’s not as bad as the Yellowstone.

Yeah, NOID looks sick!!

TM on calling North Idaho "NOID" by the way.....you heard it here first!

I've now trademarked "SEND" for Southeast North Dakota, and "SEMN" (pronounced "Semen") for Southeast Minnesota.....and now I can add "NOID" to that list too.....all spurred by some snow goose hunting I dorks I used to know calling Southeast Missouri "SEMO," pronounced "See-Moh."


I hit Mille Lacs with the girlfriend yesterday evening.....nothing too crazy but she caught a couple fish and we had a lot of fun. It was some decent chop out of the SW and I had her drive the boat, and she did well, but would not hold the fish due to having one barb of a Rapala go all the way through her finger while unhooking a jumbo perch in Canada like ten years ago......so I have some work to do on that front.

You will succeed in getting her to grab fish although that is a bit of PTSD to overcome.
