Many will choose to just close shop - how many older people who had a small business and are basically financially able to retire will just decide to say "f" it? On top of all the businesses that will close for financial reasons, and then there is a HUGE issue with all the people getting unemployment payments who will refuse to work until that runs out, which will be extended.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose a mild 1.2 percent on Thursday, bringing its weekly gain to around 12.7 percent. That makes it one of the best weeks ever for the blue-chip index

I went bargain shopping the last few weeks and was up 27% this week. Still down some from when this started but not by much anymore.

Well gf got furloughed for at least a week today...and she works for a hospital. Apparently they are hemorrhaging with all the electives cancelled etc. Now I'll get to spend all weekend dealing with her being sad...great

Comrade Tim wants to close as many hospitals as possible and move the state closer and closer to socialized medicine. Hospitals are getting killed right, we fishing with a buddy the other day, same thing his wife is a nurse working 50% of the time.

My wife drove by our local Hospital yesterday and she said in the patient parking lot their was 4 cars, usually 50-75 would be there, heard they're laying off workers as well, no one can come in for any common ailment now, must be waiting for the big push of sick people that will prolly never happen..........wife was kept on at work as she works frt desk at a mental health place, most are working at home for appts but they have to be open for walk in, thinking before this is all done they will have a line of people waiting to get in..................
